We had the pleasure of coding the backend system for the new End of Reality website which went live just last week. End of Reality is a server partner of Leetway.com and a long time advertising partner of Legit-Proof.com so it was great for us to be able to strengthen our relationship by working together. We developed the website’s backend using Kohana3 and a standard MySQL 5.1 database. EOReality provides some of the best game servers on the market. We have recently launched Leetway.com, which is yet another gaming related website. Leetway’s first purpose is to be a marketing and sales tool to game server providers. Leetway has partnered with several companies to bring over 30 free Counter-Strike 1.6 and Source servers to the competitive community. Leetway helps game server companies track their success and influence in the competitive gaming community. Partners of the program can view stats and see how popular their servers are compared to their competitors. To the gamer, Leetway is a website where you get free game servers. Gamers can reserve servers on an hourly basis. They can test servers from the different server partners and hopefully find a server they like and head over to the provider’s website and get a full time server. The Legit-Proof.com website has been simplified. The focus of the website has always been the STEAM ID search function, so we have made that part more central to the website. The design has been changed to something more minimalistic considering that the website is about getting results and not an easter egg hunt. We have also introduced some cool new features. We created something called Website/Forum badges. Gamers can generate their own badges and display their online status and gaming history on it. Users are able to customize their badges further by logging in on the website. Most of the users on Legit-Proof have Valve’s STEAM intalled, so we have based the login system for Legit-Proof on the Steam Community openid login system, meaning players can now login on Legit-Proof with their steam accounts.

We worked closely with the leaders of the club to create a website that is accessible and clear on purpose. We were able to nicely integrate some beautiful Tucson scenery in to the design.
